Mixing new colors and these shades worked so well. I wanted to create the allure and not show too much of her face. Dark and dangerous…deadly.
Superman
What can I say it’s Superman.
working with the 3 different shades of red was tricky I had to let them completely dry because of how close they looked when the paint was wet.
I love how the blue, yellow, and red came out.
The Great Egret
I wanted to see if I could paint water and create movement with a very simplistic approach.
I figured with wildlife it would make more sense.
This painting has me wanting to paint more landscape nature scenes but more stylistic than reality. Mother Earth, in all of her beauty, is very hard to recreate in a realistic form. I find myself wanting to be in the moment when I’m outdoors.

How they paint it in the movies, music, media, hype, scenery, internet, google search, photographs etc. It’s all true. California has always been a favorite place for me, even though I’ve only been once.
